I have voted for the wrong option, since the correct would have been "i have made civ2 scens, but have moved on to civ3" which is still vague though in a way.

Although probably not many people remember my EMofTH scen

            Hi there !

Looks like a thread needs some summary. Here's mine:
You put it your poll in "Civ2-Creation/Scenario League" thread, you got answers from Civ2 scenario creators or league members. Something that should be obvious.

Wanna know how many GAMERS left? Go find some gamers :-) There should be some still around.

I play ocassionally. And I will, untill they will make at last something better than Civ2.
I hope that day will eventually come.

Civ3 wasn't that good. Civ4 - who knows - have some potential. But I didn't test it much.

Civ2 is killing by AI stupidity from day one. And I don't know WHO or WHAT could change that.

You can create beautiful scenario (there are many nowadays), but you can't have better engine (AI, stacks killed by one unit etc).

Anyway, I salute you Heroes of Civilization!

Well, added my vote to "plays civ2 scens from time to time", there is my FC work of course but since the start of the year my PC had issues and now has is on the fritz (still 7-8 years of faithful service ain´t bad) and I don´t use my laptop for gaming or graphics work. Once my new PC arrives and transferred my work I might do some civ2-ToT gaming again.

                P.S
I´m still eagerly awaiting the Red Front ToT update
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

                  Ye, ye, ye

                  Paul - yes
                  Hanti - yes
Kêdzierzyn - maybe not exactly :-)
I live some 45 km away from Kêdzierzyn.

                  Well, I'm still alive.

Actually extensively testing Civ4 - looks promising. I even think of creating a raport about it's moding potential.

So tell me, friend, why are you asking about Kêdzierzyn?
Do you like that city :-) ?

                  PS:
Ah, yes: frogs, Byzantium, Outremer - but why Syria?

Civ4 does look promising on the face of it; all those text files to edit for a miriad of unit abilities for instance. However, I played a single game which crashed through massive memory useage once the AI civs were in full swing producing all those animated units. Haven't touched the sh1tty thing since.

                        Sure
I stopped making scenarios some time ago, but there's still need for scenarios about polish history. Unfortunately only a few were created. Chmielnicki still waits for his great moment.
Civ2 - is not a perfect platform for it. Maybe Civ2 ToT will suit. Maybe Civ4. I dont't know. But as far as i know nobody made a scenario about that period from polish point of view.

I heard about these things. That's why I buy games at least about year after their publishing.
Civ4 had some patches in last year. Actually they published "first addon" (8 scenario money maker) called Warlords.
It's just something like Fantascic Worlds for Civ4 - 8 scenarios plus mature scenario making abilities.
                            Good scenarios indeed.

AFAIK very few people play on maps larger than standard map in Civ4 - just because of massive memory/CPU requirements.

Anyway game looks fine. I could write some more in a future - have this game only few days.
