Deadlines and spending time with the fiance'. I've had some time to hash around Romamini ToT though, but not a lot of time to talk really. Still here though, still trucking.

I bet there are more scenario makers nowdays than actual gamers.

Truth is that making a proper civ2 scenario is a very time consuming process.

Hey Pal, we think we have six actual gamers looking for a seventh for a "real" game of Seeds of Greatness. Are you settled enough to be interested. We're still trying to settle house rules. You can have Assyria back in the meantime, if you're able.

It's the Ancient Empires#2 thread, started by Peaster in the PBEM section:

We have six, we think, you'd be the seventh. If for some reason Pal is available again, also, that'd be eight. One of us (me if no one else volunteers) would be game-master/sub until someone has to bow out.

Download the test game file and check out the civs. You should probably practice with us for a few more turns if you haven't played the Barbarian Wrath variant. And you might prefer the Hittites, who are currently more active in the Levant. Minoans also available. But we'd only be continuing the test a bit longer while we debate house rules (if any), once we have seven.

Speak up in that thread, now, if you want Assyria this turn. 'Cause it's the Green (Babylonians) turn, followed by Assyria, who are both currently being played by Platypus Rex. He just needs to know not to play them; he's already said they're available. He started with the Babs and want to continue them, even though the Assyrians are stronger, just now.

I still play the occasional scenario here, though I've more or less stopped working on my own scenario Pax California. It's more or less playable as it is now, if anyone's interested.

I don't know about that, Case, the point about Whisk(e)y is compareable I think: The older the better, just like good ol' Civ2
