No wonder that Port-au-Prince felt; the barbarians start with 21 units in one single square adjacent to the city! Why so much Saladin? Did you want that Port-au-Prince would fall no matter what because of something historical? If not I would reduce that amount of barbarians, because 21 units is ridiculous.

Hit the nail on the head. The French were never able to fully retake the island due to a combination of yellow fever and a hostile population. I am thinking of redoing this area to speculate on what if the French had been able to re-establish their rule.

Do you have the files? And do you have an empty CD? What you can do is create a file called "civ2" and put it on that empty CD. This should make civ2 work, and it works for me
