Thanks for commenting on it. After giving it some more thought it would not work. The rule will not be implemented.

Keep the suggestions coming though. The more this scenario improves and the PBEM flows, the better.

I've noticed an error in the events that needed addressing (no First Empire tech given to the French when Napoleon is crowned). Please use the Events file below:

I'm having trouble downloading the new event file. It just opens up in a new window as one large block of text. If all you've done is update the event that gives the French new units when Napoleon is crowned, then doesn't that only trigger when Patine is playing and if so, isn't then he the only one that needs the new event file since it will trigger for him and then be part of later saves anyway.

As I said above, the file has become corrupted. Thats why I've provided the link to the updated files with the corrected events file.

True, but then we are then playing with different events. I don't know about net files, but it seems that saved games has a record of the events file that it was started with.

Anyhow I don't see why this should be an issue, just simply download the latest version and be ready for your turn. Its better that I spotted this now then several turns down the line when the save would need to be modified to implement the trigger.

Say, Saladin, have you actually playtested as Russia? All my cities immediately went into civil disorder (I had to starve some) and I've got a 0 income. Could you please fix this before we begin?

Are you sure? I've doubled checked and there shouldn't be a problem with civil disorder.

This is due to your system of government (Absolute Monarchy). However since you can research Rights of Man next, you should be able change your government then to a better one. I've changed your treasury to allow you to build up some trade routes an strike evens (eventually).

With Russia, there is a fine line in this scenario atm that could turn from the backwater it is into a real monster. The negative income is still there but now that you have a treasury to help stabilise the situation, you should be fine.

i was playing this scen in SP for a couple of turns! and i think it's quite interisting!
