i remember some minor verbal conflicts with russia... but apart from that, nothing odd.

Bad news guys.. My computer won't let me get into Windows.. I dunno what the problem is really (been trying alot of things). So I guess I'll have to format and/or send it for maintenance. However, my dad was kind enough to let me lend his laptop so I use it to play, so it won't affect you that much.. Even though I've probably lost all my civ2 files again (damn, I forgot to back it up)."Peace cannot be kept by force.
It can only be achieved by understanding"

President Silva, the Portuguese President and current President of the EU's rotating presidency until the end of 2007, is alarmed by the recent upswing in Taliban violence in the Kandahar province of Afghanistan and calls on NATO and its allies to bolster their positions in Kabul and the remainder of Afghanistan. "Since the American pullout of the southern portions of the country to focus her attentions elsewhere, Taliban insurgents have returned and reinforced their positions. The Afghans welcomed us as liberators and we have let them down. The time has come to step up and bring in troops to complete our obligation to them," the President said. The mission in Afghanistan has caused some splits in the European Union, notably with the Scandinavian countries who generally oppose further deployments in the country, seeing it as beyond NATO's mandate to conduct peacekeeping operatiosn there.
In other news, trade with the United States and Mexico remained strong throughout the month.Attached Files

academia, looks like I can play for China for a while.
btw, do you draw the pictures for units and improvements yourself? They look quite good.
and nope, i didn´t create those units.
most of them were made by tanelorn, curt sibling, fairline, etc.
you can find most of them in the civ2 scenario league/creation area in this forum
i´ve only done the scenario. place the cities, balance the units, civs, tech tree, rules, etc.
