ULAN BATOR - Relations between the People's Republic of China and Mongolia have been strained in recent months, due to Mongolia's harbouring of Chinese criminals and its counterfeiting of Chinese money. Despite intense diplomatic efforts to end the trouble, Mongolia continued with its belligerent attitude by arresting Chinese nationals on trumped up charges of espionage. China, no longer willing to stand by and allow this to continue, has taken matters into its own hands. The People's Liberation Army Airforce attacked Mongolia this month after a declaration of war, destryoing the pathetic antique army of Mongolia quickly. Within hours, border units of the People's Liberation Army swept away resistance and entered Ulan Bator, forcing the Mongolian state to capitulate. China has announced that it will maintain a military presence in Mongolia for the forseeable future to oversee reconstruction and bring Mongolia to a more modern, better state.
