  • ToT rules.txt

I've been tinkering with the ToT rules.txt recently and stumbled across the Advanced Units and the other new fields.

Thing is that while i can pretty much figure out what the advanced unit field does i am at a loss concerning the second technology and leaders fields.

Any help would be much appreciated.

It's playable for MGE, but I have to redo the events for ToT. I did manage to update the graphics and the like for ToT. I've been busy as of late and I haven't been able to get back to it.

I'm having difficulty getting all my units to show up. Units past "Not Used N" simply don't show up in build lists, or in the Civilopedia.

They do appear in the Shift F1 cheat unit build, though.

Does anybody know how I can work around this and make them normally buildable?

Thanks! Now we have got a lot of lovely units.

Actually, that could be useful. If you wanted to keep single-use units like Emperor Palpatine fairly mysterious, you could just place one in the game and then put -1 in its describe line. That would prevent players from even seeing what he could do... heh heh heh!
