  • What's your theme?

Do you make any attempt to coordinate your Windows theme with your Civ2 theme?

Do you know of any free, simple, non-spying software to change your Windows theme?

It shouldn't shock anyone that I've gone a little sand-crazy with mine. Because of my lack of success in finding useful theme software, I've gone retro.

    Nice one!

I keep my Winblows XP on the silver theme...It appeals to the Cyberman in me!

I'm using the squareish 9x style, buth with darker colours, black backgrounds and gray text, and reds instead of blues:

And my task bar used to be 3 tiers thick but this way I can play Civ4 in windowed, widescreen mode and have it occupy the same as if it was maximized (only without stretching...)

Mine's nothing special, just the regular windows theme.

Standard, I don't tinker around with the machine too much anymore. Too busy in other areas of life

I use a funky FireFox theme called Metal Lion...Looks functional and neat.

                  1. Enable third party themes with MultiPatcher.

                  2. Get themes such as ClearLooks, Velvet Waves, or Codename Opus. As far as usability goes, I haven't found any that I like nearly as much as those three.

                  3. Unzip to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

                  4. Switch themes from Display } Appearance } Windows and Buttons.

Thanks, St. Leo. I was hoping you'd read this thread.

Do you have favorite Opera skins?

I like Office 2003 Native, Tango CL, and the bundled Windows Native. (As of now, native skins inherit the look of the XP theme, but not the Linux theme. )
