I did a complete re-install with the patch and still had the issue.
SP doesn't have this issue.
The terrain graphics look fine.
I played a few weeks back in an MP game and it was fine also.
The only thing is that I've updated my graphics card (for Civ4) but I can't see how this would impact?"Old age and skill will overcome youth and treachery. "

That's pretty funny... can't explain it if the image is for real.

It seems the grassland with a shield river square showed the pollution symbol; AND the river grassland WITHOUT A SHIELD showed as just desert.
But SP games were fine!
Help explain!
