Add my name to the list of people who are enjoying Civ4, thus far.
It's more complex than Civ2 - or at least it seems more complex at this point - but still manages to generate that 'just one more turn' feeling. Judging from the last several nights, anyway
The combat system is pretty arcane, but seems fairly balanced. I like that there's a way to preview combat odds, although that does take a bit of the challenge away. The trade system is easy to use, and there's still the rush from an occasional big delivery payoff, via the Great Merchant.
Anyway, my 2 cents.

I'm also enjoying it, but I'm not yet sure whether it's complex or simply complicated. For example, there are significant differences between the different civilizations and even between different leaders of the same civ.
Wow, haven't seen this thread for a while. I haven't played much since this thread was active as it happens, but that's not due to Civ4 being poor. I just have too many games to play.
