  • Whither CDG?

Whatever happened to Civilization Design Group? They had a nice site, then changed URLs, the new site is a mess, with lots of little red x's all over the place, and no activity.

I had the same problem too. Just refreshed the page and it all worked again.

The site loads fine for me. However, IMO, CDG was pretty quiet before the URL change. Changing URLs (and hence destroying everyone's bookmarks) was probably the biggest nail in the coffin though - technical problems can be death to a fairly quiet forum (as I'm finding out the hard way on a forum I run ).

Indeed at its high point CDG was an incredible hub of civ II development with as many as six or seven scenario's under active development at any given time by great developers like Pablo and Steph just to name a couple.

The old Creative Design Group site is still up - are you sure you aren't looking at that?

The new Evo-Games site works fine for me:

No. That's the same site I'm looking for. I'm using Explorer. How about others?
