Trev "I agree, duels with deity are easy as he does not compete for wonders, does not take large numbers of good city sites early, so a large number of celebrating cities with HG can be built without restraint allowing a large number of large cities relatively early in republic."
I rarely build Wonders - occasionally Oracle, sometimes Leo. But I never race for them.

I never build too many cities cos I like to micro and can't cope with a huge number of cities. What I can cope with is lots of units though

Easy you think Trev? Wonders weakens your play. And just popping settlers for cities I find boring. Let's just say it's easy for you to do that in the early game. But as Horse would say, we need to finish one before you make these pronouncements.

BTW We are the two Aussies that haven't had a war yet...

I've been noticing that Horse's turns seem *on average* to take longer than anyone elses.

Something I've also noticed is that Horse negotiates via the diplo screen during his turn.

When he's approached me during his turn I've cancelled out asking him to negotiate between turns as is customary and polite to the other players. I would expect others to do the same. [A quick exchange in KC can stabilise any border issues, if need be.]
