Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

    • This is a byzantine church, or even a mosque

      • The domes look nice, with a bit of work you could turn it into the Hague Sophia!

        • The hagia you mean
hagia is the greek word for 'sacred'

Originally it was going to be the hagia sofia btw, but it would need a lot more work...

            • The main building and foundations are in place.

From the top I would add a gold spike on the dome, a darker ring at the bottom of the top dome. the archway in "front" (is it the front?). after that the side- and surrounding buildings with the minnarets. You´re halfway there, keep going!

              P.S
On my laptop the colours look dark but that could be due to my TFT screen.

              • It's very good, but a little dark.

                • Im not sure if the minarets will be added, since they were placed by the ottomans, and i am making this for a byzantine set.
I will probably change the tone of red slightly though

                  • This still is not completed, but it is already looking a bit more like the actual building:

Next i will work on the bit immediately below the dome.

                    • Since I've been working on a project of my own for so long now and haven't really posted anything relevant in ages I thought I'd take a minute to post some button shield and flag graphics. Attached below is the updated set for North America.

I think that it can be called complete by this stage

Great job Chris! Looking forward to the rest of the set.Do you mind posting blank flags and buttons too (like you did before, in allthe different colors, I lost that set)? That'd be awesome.

                            • The hagia sophia does not have white domes.

Here is a pic of it:
