Hey all,
Even though I am dabbling in Civ3, Civ2 still has
a favored place on my shelf. However, I recently noticed
a problem that I want to know if anyone else has seen.
I'm playing under Windows XP, and noticed that the
wonder videos have stopped playing. That is,
I get the dialog that XXX city has built YYY wonder,
Zoom to City or Continue, but when I click either one,
the video doesn't play. The game just continues on!
Now I have relatively recently installed XP service
pack 2, and have also upgraded Windows Media Player.
I can go into the wonder videos folder, and play the
individual files, so I know that the files are not corrupted. Unfortunately, I can't remember which dates
the videos stopped, to correlate them with the updates.
Has anyone else seen a problem like this, with the
most recent WinXP updates?
