ToT on win xp

hello i just found out this great game but sadly cant run in under winxp. it gives an error warning and crashes. is there any patch to solve this or any other way?¿

You might have better luck posting your question at Civilization Fanatics: Civ2 - Tech Support. I suspect that incorrect indeo drivers are the culprit, but I'm kinda ignorant about them.

Keep trying, it works well under xp once you're past this hurdle. There's also a required patch (to v1.1, check the link below). I'd recommend dumping the default gfx. Catfish's Cave has some excellent substitute gfx and a bunch of tips, too.
