  • What do the Post Stats numbers mean in members' profiles?

    I am curious about the Post Stats numbers found in "profile" at the top of every post.

    For example, what do "A: 18 | D: 9 | M: 4 | HP: 94" mean? They do look a bit like D&D player stats (IIRC, in this case, an pretty good medium level fighter).

    A search of Apolyton failed to turn up any information.

    In general A, D and M seem to increase with the number of posts that a member has posted. However, HP seems to vary all over the place with no discernible pattern.

    Does anyone know?

    I think I have seen this asked in the Apolyton/Community forum Here is a Link, I would suggest you ask there as I don't recall what the correct answer is.

    Sorry I couldn't be more help

      @Sparrowhawk
      Thank you very much. I located the thread from Sept 2004 in the Community Forum and then spent way too much time reading other threads. Interesting place.

      For those who are interested but don't want to go searching for it, here's the answer

When HP goes to 99, next increase, A increases by 1, and HP drops to 0.

          Doesn't have to be in A/C, which means we have a winner! From memory (don't have time to check) I think it's Gramphos, as he is the only one with an active guess IIRC.

          I'll start a thread in A/C later or Sparrow can do the honours.
