Problems w/ Scenario building

i have just recently purchased Civ2 gold edition for my G4 ibook and, while i can play all the scenarios, I cannot create my own icons for scenarios i build b/c when I click on the "load icon" button in the Units Editor I am unable to load (wrong program? prob w/ the CD itself? )
ALSO when I try to edit the icons manually, the next time I load the game the screen is flipped out with all thes psychodelic colors.

Maybe you should post this in the scenario forum. I have only done a little scenario work and can't remember having the same the problem you did. If you do it manually, make sure to save the file as a bmp (or maybe a gif is OK) but not a jpg.
