  • Need some help

I've just suffered my second computer problem in as many years; I'm back up and running again but I think I've lost everything on my hard drive. Not to worry, I thought, I've got my civ gfx burned to CD. Wrong - effing CD has some kind of fault and can't be read by my computer. Arse.

Now for the begging part - has anyone got copies of my gfx which I posted at the old CDG site? The stuff here at the SLeague is less complete and older, and it seems the old CDG site has now been removed. If anyone has the gfx, can they let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. Thanks

Thanks a lot Steph, that's quite a few of them

There are quite a lot more I posted at CDG if anyone DL'ed all of them - later versions of some of the stuff JP has posted here, ancient Roman's and Byzantines etc.

Well, here are the graphics that I had lying around with your name on them. I also have zips that you may have had a hand in. You will have to cut and paste them into a compilation as they are spread out.

Oh, and I did grab the samurai.

Have you tried reading the CD in another drive? (a friends' , work, whatever?) I've experienced that some drives are more picky than others, especially with regards to burnt CD's...

Ugh. You know what we all need? A dedicated FTP site that we can just log into and dump our civ files.
