I am glad to see most players enjoyed this experiment. It was also fun to watch each team's discussions and their progress. So, if you want to do it again, what kind of starting position do you want ? (a harder one ? is a scenario OK ? spaceship or conquest ? ....) If somebody else wants to mod, that's OK too !

Although the scenario presented interesting challenges and opportunities, I think I would prefer that the next best-ball teaching game be a straight game, in order to maximize my learning opportunities.

Sorry. I haven't had a chance to play, and I never came back to say so. I have been busy over in Civ3 with the Roman Demo Sxn, and some other stuff. That, Neverwinter Nights, and RL have filled up my time.

I just bought the NWN deluxe edition - planning on using it to pine away the months before Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion is published. I had not realized that it had such a following and was regarded as RL!
My wife will divorce me - but I shan't notice being locked away in my study ....

How do I use a .hak file?

Now we all have to get accounts at the Bioware site and play online.

I'm still working my way through the builders tutorial, and have gotten a few characters through the intro/training section.

I have no idea how to use the .hak yet.

OK it's off topic, but put it in the hak folder. You don't need to do that for the official game, but some modules from the community use it.
