ERROR:Failed to load game - the file has more recent version than the game

Following message appears when I tried to load some scenarios like Blitzkrieg1936 , Great Game , etc.
What should I do ?
I use civ 2 version , that allows all fantasy world's features.

Stalingrad - I'd guess the scenarios were written with the Civ2 Multiplayer Gold Edition, so you can't open them with classic Civ2. Check the author's readme's or the online scenario descriptions.

I have MGE and just ordered classic (see links above) for about 1 dollar plus shipping. There may be a patch you could use instead. Maybe somebdy else will tell you more.

Here, at the bottom of the page, You have
"Patches/Updates" section.
I think You should download the last of the stuff listed there.
