Our gods are crazy
The gods alighted on a river valley in somewhere in Africa and quickly organised 2 villages, and so began the great African civilisaton. Quickly the civilization organised itself to send out explorers and 2 more settlers.
But then the gods went to sleep and Africa was left in the dark to hibernate for 50 years. Finally the gods woke and the settlers could found more towns, but soon after they went to sleep and left the civilization directionless again.
Soon the gods reappeared, but their personality and instructions seem to change. These gods of the African people are crazy and maybe we will throw off these gods and find true liberation soon, and have a real civilizaton we can support and develop and build, just maybe, after all this has been known as the dark continent for good reason presumably. However we hope for a brighter future still.Comment

How arrogent you are, sir, to declare a boundary only after many tens of thousands of Europeans have settled along the Upper Nile. Sounds to me like you are TRYING to pick a fight.

The Oceanic Dieticians did set about building an empire second to NONE. Without any neighbours it was essential to maintain rapid technological development, since science did progress more slowly on this planet than many of the other of HIS conquered realms...
More rapid expansion than usual was necessary here too and earliest contact with other civs was crucial. Before any contact was discovered a bolt out of the blue West did arrive. It was a magical diplomat from very far away who did bestow on the Oceanic Dieticians a gift of Trade, no less!
Consul deity the I was sceptical about such an arrangement and wondered what the consequence would be. A price would be paid for sure. Maybe the Euros wanted to be last to fall to the sword of the swaggering, drunken Dietrcians... In the end it will make no diference...
Soon after, the Asiatic nation was discovered to our NW. The city of Saigon did'st accept our (bloody expensive and drunken) diplomat AND an embassy was established. We were warned to NOT set foot on Asiatic soil and agred to not establish any cities in Asia. Any such city would have been usles and incitefull anyway.. a waste of efort indeed.
