    Fantastic. Awesome graphics

I've never played fantasy games before Bitterfrost, and I'm now a convert, especially after seeing these screenies.

About these Nedling scallies - do they wear Burberry baseball caps and shellsuit armour?

Once the text and sounds are fixed (cheers, Harry!) this one will be ready for testing.

I am glad you like the graphics, fairline!
Kudos from a master like yourself have real meaning.

      PS
Beware the hideous Nedling battlecry: 'Monnn ya doughbar!'

        Very very cool! :salivate:

One teensy weensy suggestion - I'm about as far away from a graphics artist as you can get so take it with a megaton of salt, but the pommel on the crusaders swords looks a tiny bit too large or askew or something?
You probably wouldn't even notice it at normal scale.

It's just one of those little glitches that arise when using pixelated Civ2 units.

The current sword angle is the best I can get, but it won't be noticable ingame..

Wow, the graphics alone make me want to play it, now knowing the improved plot and gameplay, its a relief that scheduled release is after final exams.

As for the city in the title picture... isn't that New York?

It might be new york - Or perhaps the Ancients had a very similar style of architecture...?

                  The plot will reveal all!

Curt, I hope you don't mind me using the suburbs/ruins around Rulebrood, when this is one is released. They will fit perfectly as graphics for Osgiliath (maybe some minor tweakings) for my little secret project.

It's a going to be a busy christmas with all those ToT scenarios this year.

Btw Curt, did you also make the character on the title page? I've seen the same style appear on the original Bitterfrost.
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.
