The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Nah, me not, we exchanged a few mails years ago...
Hm... Perhaps I should play the scenarios You've mentioned. Since my studies, I don't play that much scenarios
"I realise I hold the key to freedom,
I cannot let my life be ruled by threads" The Web Frogs Middle East!
"You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye Who cheer when soldier lads march by, Sneak home and pray you'll never know The hell where youth and laughter go." -- Siegfried Sassoon, 'Suicide in the Trenches'
"What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing." - Oscar Wilde
I realized the depth of my addiction to CivCity last summer, when I tried to add multiple maps to El Aurens. Became utterly daunted when I realized all those cities would have to be edited from within ToT.

What is the problem? Maybe someone here can help if you describe it.
Well, I took the effort of altering the commodities of each of a pair of hundreds cities of my scenario...
And it doesn't work!
In the CivCity itself it's OK. When I enter my sav, and give the trade tech to the players so that I could see the trade commodities, they are completely different than the ones there are in CivCity
Do getting some tech alter trade commodity?
"I realise I hold the key to freedom,

Strange. I wanted to make an experiment.
I opened the sav, and opened civcity.
I gave trade tech to all civs and saved the game
and then, clicked on Aden city and told it to save.
But it's told me that external changes took place (my saving of the game), and it crushed,
and when I opened the civcity again, Aden had the same trade commodities in civcity and in the game sav, while the rest still not
- and You could not change that by civ city.
The trade commodities are determined by a complex formula depending on terrain and amount of time/turns passed (the commodities and supply/demand change over the course of a game), - someone in the strategy forum once worked it out.
I've never had real success with using CivCity for this purpose. Better check out that article, it was very lengthy and detailed, but I've forgotten the link (someone posted it in this forum a long time ago).
It deserves to be in the league's tips section. (this goes for many of the good strategy pieces, that are mostly overlooked by scenario creators).
