  • Australian Civ Group: The "Deity, my part in his downfall" edition

Or the "Onion Island" edition for short.

Recent appearances by Makeo, Trev and Hydey have given hope of continuing games in the future. If we could all just remember to turn on icq when we are online gentlemen ............. (you too Hydey)

I also badly want to conclude the spaceships game with finbar and was feeling a little guilty about not being available recently - until I realised that if finbar's arty and economically illiterate mates stopped bashing the US FTA then I would have more time to play civ damnit!

That game has been quite fun. Next time we should do a "no wonders" version.
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

If you want to be party to selling out our cultural rights, feel free. As well as giving Raz your home address, I've given the sugar farmers your mobile number.

I won't be around Friday night, but I'll check in tomorrow and Thursday nights.

Last night Horse and I set some sort of record for this group - we finished a game! He launched his SS first, I built a quicker one, launched later and landed first!

I believe his spaceship arrived in 1968, very appropriate.

Once again only 2 people show up, Finbar and myself this time, it would be good if players in general can post their availability prior to Friday night, so we can know whether to expect a game or not

sorry- I got beat up by finbar's trade luddite mates down in Melbourne on Friday and the casualty nurse said my wounded pride would not heal propoerly if I was up after 10pm

2 players should be enough to have a game but yes, I'll try and notify in future. Did you start something?

                      Makeo! Where are you!
