BLITZKRIEG 1942
I know, I know! More ww2 you say . But this is my last ww2 scenario and to celebrate it I made a spectacular one
You might have heard about the scenario Blitzkrieg before. I have made two versions of it before. The first one was Blitzkrieg 1941. It led to Blitzkrieg 1936, which again led to this – Blitzkrieg 1942. This is the last chapter in the Blitzkrieg trilogy and many major changes, and tweaks have been made. It contains a unique tech tree, which btw took me months to develop. This is the ultimate BK-scenario.
In this scen I’ve tried to make everything as simple as possible. There are only 5 playable scen, which makes it optimized for PBEMs and makes for a better power balance. All Fairline units btw. Many changes have also been done since the play test version of this scen. The difference between this and the former BK-scens is that the Allies start with the upper hand. And in the former BK-scens I have used barbarians. I have not done so here, so this scen should work just as good in Single Player as in Multiplayer.
1. Axis
2. Imperial Japan
3. USA (& Allies)
4. British Commonwealth
5. Soviet Union
(6. Neutrals
7. Vichy-France)
One thing that you might notice in this from the other two Blitzkrieg scens, is that I’ve gone away from that “1 in hitpoint” thing. Now battles last longer and hitpoints and firepower are regulated to fit the various units.
Note: Remember to take terrain into account before attacking. Rivers, hills etc give defense bonuses. Many cities are placed on rugged terrain and requires a cunnig plan to take them .

Blitzkrieg 1942
Using the new the new blitzkrieg tactics to crush opposition in Poland, Scandinavia, the Low Countries, France and the Balcans within two years, Hitler found himself in total command of the European Continent. His next step: the Soviet Union. In June 1941, Hitler invaded Russia.
Meanwhile, in the Pacific, the Japanese had turned aggressive. By August 1942 they had taken control of Southeast Asia and reached as far as New Guinea on the road toward an invasion of Australia. Menaced by the American presence in the Pacific, the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, bringing the United States into the war.
Here's your chance to rewrite history. The date: July 1942!
