    The units are by me, BeBro and Stefan. The terrain is largely pinched from Favoured Flight and Catfish's ToT compilation, with a few bits and bobs by me. I have drawn new Persian and Macedonian cities, while the Indian cities are Stefan's and the Greek cities are by BeBro.

      I didn't even know there was a "Quest For Asia 3.0". If Stefan doesn't disagree, I'll upload to the SCS the scenario and the alternative gfx

      Beautiful units BTW... as usual

              @fairline:
              superbe artwork , it's quite boring repeat it...

              @stefan:
              your scenario was already really great (and not for the surname of Alexander ). IMHO fairline has given a quality contribution to make it quite re-born, greeks called it 'palingenesis'...
              "Dilexi iustitiam, odivi iniquitatem, propterea morior in exilio" [PAPA GREGORIUS VII +1085] - ("He amado la justicia, he odiado la iniquidad, por eso muero en exilio") - ("I loved justice, I hated unfairness, that's why I die in exile") - (J'ai aimé la justice, j'ai détesté l'iniquité, c'est pourquoi je meurs en exil") - ("Ich liebte Gerechtigkeit und hasste Ungerechtigkeit, deshalb sterbe ich im Exil")

                            fairline: Sorry for not noticing this before, but the Advanced Phalanx units should have a sword instead of a sarissa (lance). I included that unit mainly because of the reformation of the Phalanges during the Central Asian campaign, and the most important aspect was the removal of the sarissa.

                              Here's a Macedonian with just a sword Stefan. Sorry - I should have used your unit as a guide here!

                              I know that the phalanx was issued with new linen cuirasses during the Asia campaign (I think Arrian mentions cuirasses without backplates in order to discourage running from the enemy!), but I hadn't read that the sarissa was replaced. How did the phalanx defeat the indian elephants at the Hydaspes without them? Also, the phalanx was certainly armed with even longer pikes (18ft or so?) during the Successor period...
