Well, I'll leave the link message up to you, though a constant repeating message draws more attention (learned that in marketing for MBA's ), but here is what I have used for my sig:

Simply paste that in your sig box in your profile in the control panel and a linked message will appear in your sig line. If you'd like to do a different message, just replace the obligatory text between the html line and the last URL.

***Remember to remove the three astericks at at the beginning and end of the message above and replace them with a beginning and ending bracket or the link won't work***

If you have long sigs, colored messages are appreciated.

Even if you don't post much outside of the Civ2 forums it should still attract the MP and PBEM crowd who might want to start designing things.
