Is Civ 2 Retro Yet?

I mean I am a weak player at 2 but no matter what your level is, or inclination, you can find a way of playing you enjoy.
The other thing I love about 2 is that, as a lurker, the boys here that I read, enjoy their game and try to help anyone that asks.

I have been playing Civ2 since I was a child seven years ago. I appreciate and discover more and more of the game mechanics and possibilities as i grow old. I still vaguely reminice those first games, the smooth, fast and clear graphics, those great colours and unit shields,
the matchingly swift gameplay style, and the factor which makes any game so great: Easy to Learn. Hard to Master
I shall continue playing Civ2 until my deathbed
Better than Civ3
Better than Call to Power etc

Civ 2 is not retro, as it can be played on the most modern computers as well as those 100mhz machines
