Now Nick - what's this about made-up flags? I'm at the mercy of what an internet rando posted, but I thought they were all legit.

-On a related note, I've seen claims ranging from 18 to 22 for the number of Spanish-speaking countries...

That one with the flags you posted earlier... the Argentine is wrong. The Peruvian is wrong. The Chilean doesn't even seem to appear, neither the Uruguayan flag.

Bueno, haciendo mi propia investigación, veo que las banderas argentina y peruana en el gráfico en el que trabajé estaban, de hecho, equivocadas. -Sin embargo, las banderas de Chile y Uruguay estuvieron todo el tiempo. Están ordenados alfabéticamente, en columnas de dos.

Well, doing my own research, I see the Argentinian and Peruvian flags on the chart I worked from were, indeed, wrong. -However, the Chile and Uruguay flags were there all along. They're arranged alphabetically, in columns of two.





Aquí está con las correcciones y la Bandera Imperial añadida. Tal vez a Rhaul y ChinChin les guste, ¿qué piensan los demás?

None of those flags are actual country flags, they seem to be versions of the former Spanish colonies using Spain's template.

Siigh. I got the second Peru flag off the Britannica site. They gave me a bum steer?

Now I gotta go find -accurate- versions w/o watermarks...

The Peruvian one with the cost of arms is also valid, it's the state flag (the one without the CoA is the civil flag)

Wikipedia probably has some svgs you can use if you attribute them?

-I wonder why someone posted those made-up flags? It seems to be a scholastic site - gamers playing a a historical scenario, and/or writers doing alternate history, I would understand...
