Deutsche Sudwestafrika Exchanged! Cities renamed

Victoria (Former Luderitz).- In earlier ceremony today, British troops effected the changing of the flags in Luderitz, Swakopmund and Windhoek after the landmark treaty with Germany was finalised. The cities, obtained in exchange with British East African cities of Mombasa and Nairobi, were aptly renamed: Victoria, Rhodesville and Bechuanaland in honour of our greatest statesmen.
