I think his Mrs. has borrowed his civ playing laptop, and he has been reduced to his workplace Poly accessing desktop which won't run Civ, until, that is, his civ playing desktop arrives from NZ........
That being said, I haven't seen him posting on Poly for 5 days now, but I know he is in the middle of a very busy time at work right now.......

Chill!
You need to understand that I live in the Southern Hemisphere - and that timezones can have an effect on these things.
When Wittlich sent the save it arrived in my mailbox at around 5.50 am, in my timezone, yesterday. I was travelling internationally with my family yesterday - then upon arrival at my apartment we discovered our household goods had finally arrived from NZ - so we unpacked those till about 10pm last night. I started work at 6am - in my timezone.
It is now 5.17 pm, in my timezone, and I am still at work.
While I make the odd post or two
at work - I do not actually play Civ at work.
I will be home hopefully by 6pm, I will then spend some time with my children, and when they have gone to bed I will have dinner with and talk to etc my wife.
When she has gone to bed I will THEN play civ.I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.Comment
