This is a huge learning curve for me, so I am open to all discussions, strats, etc. as well.

I apologize for the occasionally slow turn play: I spend most weekends at my GF's and don't have the game installed on her machine.

First question: If one builds a city on a resource for which one does not yet have the science to exploit, does one get the resource when one develops the appropriate capabilities? For that matter, does one ever get the resource under a city square?
