I am missing something on the airlift Paddy

I have an airport built

I see the ICON and click it, it shows a plane (sort of) but when I click on the map it wont allow me to do it???

I have tried right clicking and left clicking on map, no luck

Any suggestions?

only 1 unit can be airlifted into a city per turn

could that be the issue?

I cant do any at all??

Are you aware of the step?

I wonder if there is an airlift enabler?

Like the stack attack, if its not enabled, you can only attack a single unit at a time

Ok

I have two major attack forces in area

First] 7 Panzers and 12 marines southeast of Bombay, with 2 more Panzers one turn behind


Second] My biggest force which has 38 Panzers and 4 marines 3-4 turns from Punjab, due east of Punjab

Headed to Punjab and point unknown afterward

Nopw that i have my Airlift working
all units can go to best city for a rallying Point

I also have an Interceptor Jet Fighter in place, with more coming
