Ok Picked this up from Maki in Grasshoppers Pbem on this site.
She picked this up from CFC site:
"For PBEMs you have to unlock the save with admin password in an un-upgraded install, then relock the save with admin password again after you patch."

I went back to see who set the admin pwd and now I know why it is called VirginIV
Anyway from what I can tell it is CerberusIV who set the game rolling. So over to Cerb, unless there was no pwd set in which case ForesterSOF may be able to change it as per guidelines above.On the ISDG 2012 team at the heart of CiviLIZationComment

I did start the game. I'll have a look at it but don't remember setting an admin password - I had read about issues with admin passwords and patches and don't usually set one.Never give an AI an even break.Comment

I did set an admin password - fortunately I found it on a tatty scrap of paper at the bottom of a box that had computer stuff in when I moved house.
I have removed the admin password and resent the save to Soltz. Hopefully that will make it playable post patch.Never give an AI an even break.Comment
