What exactly does Choose Religions do? I've never heard of CivStats, I'll look into it tonight.

civstats: http://www.civstats.com/ ... it basically displays the game status, tracks the turns, etc. you need an uploader to notify the website...

choose religions: nothing huge... just that when you get monotheism, you don't have to take judaism but can choose any of the 7 religions your heart desires (goes for all religious techs).

looking forward to it especially as I've banned myself from single player games again. just too damn addictive and time-consuming

The new game has begun, and I sent everyone an email. Anyone think we should have turn tracking thread here? (until CivStats supports BtS) With the turn timer, posting isn't totally a necessity. Plus you can just log in to the game to see whos turn it is.

By the way, I called the game Mystery Lump. I couldn't think of anything better. I figured the game is featuring a new player, whom we don't know and is a friend of Lump's. Therefore, Mystery Lump. It could also refer to that thing growing on your arm...

Also, it'll apparantely let me change the Turn Timer duration, so whenever someone will be gone for an extended period of time, we can either shut the game down or set the Turn Timer to a huge number.

turn tracker here doesn't help because if only 4 of 5 post, one still doesn't know if the turn is done or not.
maybe we could do that the last player of the round (and usually the first of the next round) posts here to notify for turn changes?

btw, amusing game name you chose a friend of mine calls clits "mystery lumps" because many men tend to have trouble finding this mysterious lump

How exactly do I start this game? I selected Direct IP Connection (or something like that) and put [the address] in the network address. It tried to connect for a few times and then said the connection had timed out. Am I doing something wrong?

Yea, that's how you connect. If you're connecting from BtS and have the patch, the problem must be on my end. Can you connect Sabre? Where the heck is Krazy?

3.02 is kind of a strange patch. All it does is "Synchronization of US Version to European Versions". Maybe I forgot to patch the server, could have sworn I did. I can connect from my main machine and I know it's patched. And the port on the router is forwarded.
