The admin has to do it, i.e. the person setting up the game who entered the admin password as part of the set-up process.

However I'm not sure how much luck Keygen will have, as I've followed that procedure for other games that i've set up, and haven't managed to get the games working.

Sorry for the delay, I'm kind busy lately but I will look into it pretty soon. If I remember correctly I do have the administrator password saved somewhere in my hard disk.

So why did that happened all of a sudden? Did you upgraded CIV?

When you install BtS, it automatically updates CIV and Warlords to the latest patches.

If you can't get it to work with the latest patch, then there is the option that we all uninstall CIV, then reinstall and patch it to the previous version we were playing on.

I'm planning to buy BtS tomorrow so I'll play then.

I guess we will all have to either buy/install BtS or update to the new patch in order to avoid incompatibilities...

I'm getting this message when I try to load the turn:

"The save file you have selected is protected to ensure that the assets in your mod folder have not been changed".


Then "Load failed" and crash to desktop.

I'm patched to 1.7.4. Whassup?
