small terra map, low sea
6 players (+1 more than normal)

ancient start, normal speed (we're quick enough)

all options as you proposed (alliances on, raging barbarians, culture flipping, etc)

sorry, at the office a nasty bug appeared so i didn't get to finish creating the world.

i've sent the save 4000BC

Trouble here. I can't open the save you sent me.

I get a popup telling me that the save is protected to ensure there are no changes in the mod folder's assets or something, and after pressing ok it drops to the desktop.

And since I don't have any changes in my assets, I have no idea what's going on here.

hm, i can imagine what's the reason, although it's strange that the other game worked fine. maybe because that was only an upgrade?

the reason is that i'm actually running patch 2.07, one we were both testing. it's the same as 2.08 but it seems as if there are slight differences. i cannot play warlords with patch 2.08 on this notebook due to my missing DVD drive

anyhow, other notebook has a "regular" install. i'll try again from there. could take a few days though... hope that's ok.

platypus, wouldn't that be a bit unbalanced? i mean... we three would be much better at coordinating.
what difficulty level were you thinking of?
or maybe we should play against a 4-5er AI team?
