btw, war chariots are really awecome!!! one of mine has won 3 battles in 3 turns, only recovering by upgrades

Double standard? Well, now you're *relatively* weak and your forces dispositioned was the time to come knocking on the door, since in a few turns you'll have a third of the continent in your pocket and from then on it should have been a breeze for you.
And I more or less put the limit on the Egyptians going into warmode on whatever civ to act on my own.

In any case, I'll keep a prior-attack save around.

yes, gmail would be good. notification is great for them. although i have had 2 phases where it didn't work correctly. that was a downtime of about 36 hours total. better than what my other accounts had.

i'm still a loooong way from looking for the ominous other continent. and how do you mean third continent? what's the second one?
