I should be faster now just got my own PC back after 9 weeks, my old machine was written off after the insurance company spent 6 weeks deciding what to do, then it took another week for them to collect the base unit then another 2 weeks for them to send me the replacement vouchers.
I have had to ask my wife nicely for all this time if i can use her computer, which is ok some of the time but not all of the time !!!

IMPORTANT !!!
Evidently, the lastest Patch is NOT compatible with saved turns that are of an earlier version.
So, unless we what to start the game over from scratch...I suggest NOT upgrading to Version 2.08
Now that I have discovered this, I need to uninstall Warlords and install it again in its original version.

Ive patched and the turn wont load, but i believe there is a solution to this which rob worham has used to upgrade one of his warlords pbem's it was Alexman who explained how to upgrade.

ive reinstalled the game and played using version 2.00 warlords, if we want to continue this game with the new patch platy will need to sort out the admin password !
I think it might be easier to restart, but i dont want to have to do a dual install, so after this turn im patching to 2.08 and will be unable to play on in this unless it can be sorted by Platypus.
