When you first open turn before doing anything press ALT + D and the setup screen pops up..put your outgoing server information in their, located in Properties of email settings.

Think I got my SMTP setup correctly. It said successfully sent file anyhow... so I assume it sent.

Looks like I'll be Mansa Musa.

Tomorrow at work (since Im so busy there) I'll read up in this forum to see what exactly a tracker is... PBEM faqs etc...

Basically, post the year of the save..but even more so you could add a storline, tell all what is ahppening, "Be" Mansa..and report of the happenings within your mighty Kingdom

Thats not normal..I play in around 70 games..on occasion the turns get "lost" then I ask for a resend..but about 95% of time pretty quick...

OK. SO I'll give the smtp a shot and see if the problem is persistant or not.

Is the PBEM game smart enough to poll for next turn or do we have to go to our email and manually copy the save to our pbem save directory ?

Just wondering if you have to alt-tab for each turn or if the game can play semi-continuous when we both happen to be online and active.

In Civ IV & Warlords as well, the saves are auto saved everyturn, usually in "MY DOCUMENTS/GAMES/CIVIV/SAVES/PBEM"

As for the turns, we are playing PBEM so as far as I am aware, you have to send the turn via email

as the game progresses, you can start a sort of interactive experience...

It is allways best to post the year of the turn, this way, if I dont get it, you will know what to send.
