Hey, are you both patched to the pre-BtS 1.74 vanilla yet? Had to do it for a PB game, but I wanted to check you both were updated before I played and messed up the save

i got back last night after a few beers, found myself downloading a patch. the game did it. so yes! is the answer for me.

Greaaaaat. Now that I'm patched and try to open it, I'm getting teh "assets protected' messsage :X

According to what I can find on CFC,

"For PBEMs you have to unlock the save with admin password in an un-upgraded install, then relock the save with admin password again after you patch."

... ooops

Er, realized that wasn't clear - you (andy) need to reset the admin pass, but I should've requested you to do that before upgrading, hence the oops.

Sorry guys, the game doesn't want to want to accept the admin password. I doubt if that is because I've forgotten it, highly unlikely - I'm pretty sure I use the same password for everything civ related, but I set this game up a long time ago and so it is possible I used something different - I can't be 100% certain.

So I guess this is it.
