I've seen nothing from Paddy in a long time....

The last post I can find from Paddy was the Civ4-SPDG on the 16th but nothing in his PBEM tracker threads for ages.

I don't mind the PBEM's running slow, just that when I do get a turn I can't remember what the hell I was trying to do.

I checked in the Administrative sticky and found a post from Paddy saying that real life got in the way. Maybe we could find someone to take his place or retire him.

I would suggest a replacement, then he can take over again should he get back on his feet.

Question though, are his turns password protected and does anyone know the admin password if it is?

Well if someone has a replacement, I can re-send the file to them and they can see if they can open it. If it's passworded we are cooked until he comes back.

Can you get someone at your location to check it out on your machine for you (avoids seeing the screen then)? Then we know if we need to try and contact Paddy in addition to a replacement.

I know a couple of people who may be willing to sub or take over.

I don't know anyone else who plays Civ 4 so if you hav e someone in mind, give me there e-mail and I'll send it to them. If they can play were in business, if not I think we are dead in the water.
