I'm having a problem with the 'save'. It won't open directly like they used to and when I copy or move it to the 'save games' folder, it doesn't show up on the list when I'm in the game.
One thing is different on my end. My hard drive is in two partitions and over the weekend I moved the Civ program files over to the larger partition. However, the other games I'm in are working fine.

I could almost open it... I just don't have your password...
See the image. I get this just clicking on the save. If you want to open it inside the game, you have to capitalize some letters…

Well I renamed it but I wound up going to the DOS prompt to do it! I haven't done that for a long time.

Windows Explorer wouldn't show me the file extension so I couldn't edit it. I tried playing with the settings to no avail and finally got fed up and went into DOS instead.Even a fool is thought wise if he remains silent.Comment
