Honestly, folks: we've done only one and a half turn in more than two weeks! It can't go on like that. What's holding us up?

oct will be military service but every other day i should be able to get a turn in or so. after november all should be fine

Well, this weekend it was me: I was busy and did not play any of my PBEMs. I should be able to send this one tonight.

I think usually the pace is OK. (compared to some other PBEMs I play).

Military service Sabrewolf? Wow, I tend to forget such a thing exists. We'll be patient until you come back full-time in November with Drill I and City Defense I.

well, my "unit" (the sabrewolf-unit) cannot be promoted along the drill path, as i'd be completely unable to fire the first shot, thus having a first strike.
and defence? being 6'3" the city cannot offer much protection

Okay, I'm back. 590bc sent to Sabrewolf.

i am away for my yearly military service over the next four weeks.

although i have my notebook with me and UMTS/GPRS internet connection, i cannot promise any decent rate. with a bit of luck (HSDPA or UMTS in the office) i should be able to do a round every second day. but if i'm stuck in a bunker without even slow (GPRS) connection, i'm afraid the turns will only be sent on the weekends
