ok guys, fyi, i took a closer look at the score growth. this turn i did not build anything of value but one of my tundra cities grew in culture area. that let to exactly +12 points. as the number of tiles "captured" too is exactly 12 tiles, it leads to the conclusion that 1 tile == 1 point.

now. considering i have much vaster area than the squashed dauphin, i'm getting pretty worried about where his score came and comes from. it cannot be the area and it cannot be the technology alone. have you got a huge army? or is it "just" your money?
