yes... try hitting update within the game.
mirrored files download of the v1.52 update will probably be available soon...

i vote for patching immediately, but will only do so when a majority of the PBEMs decide to do that.
from what i have read, this patch is great and improves many things!
what do you guys think?

I have patched one household computer, and not the other, so I can play either versions.

I note that the patch introduces 'Marathon' speed games, a setting above the Epic speed game. I checked it out and it said it would take 35 turns to research Meditation and 50 turns to build a settler, starting from turn 1. It may not be suitable for PBEM.

If you guys decide to continue with 1.09, I just reinstall. Still have to look up the changes and currently looking for a readme.
