bsaically I messed up at the start and I am unsure how to get back as there isnt the land left. But I have learnt what not to do next time. Espically as corossol has done it to me in another game as well!

Done to you... surely you don't mean blocking you? In our other game we share a large landmass with lots of space left for both of us. In this game we're both stuck for land, but at least you have Monty to invade. Or we can get on boats and make colonies, lots of land left. Maintenance costs? Turn on State Property and you're all set!
