yes, indeed we do watch lost, desperate housewives, grey's anatomy, 24 and all the other stuff that comes over. too bad it is always the translated version, which always loses quality (there seem to be about 4 german synchronised translaters it seems). so what i do is download the english version... and yes, i buy the DVDs when they come out about a half year later or so.

i guess you have been watching lost and are also thrilled about this summer's cliffhanger

Yea, it's nice to know exactly what the point of the hatch is, and how it ties in with the plane crash... It almost seems like this company is in the business of "getting rid of people." Several of the people on the island has someone wealthy who wanted them gone...

The very ending with the monitoring station didn't make much sense. How would she know Desmond would be near a large magnetic field? Only way possible is if her dad is in on it, and she got information out of him...

Also, I don't think it's over for Michael and Walt... Desmond tried to leave, went due west, but ended up right back on the island... Unless "the others" really are letting him go, and that heading they told him to follow is the only way out... Plus, I don't believe Locke is dead... Maybe the switch with the key just turned the generator off? No explosion. But than he would have come out of the hatch by that night...

As for this game, defending your capital with a lone archer? Are you trying to trick us or something?

i also doubt locke is dead. he's just too important for the group... the only one besides sayyid who thinks further and investigates stuff. and michael and walt... well, i never liked how nobody was suspicious of michael. stumbling out of the jungle when kate and jack are waiting... demanding for EXACTLY the 5 others and them not noticing quicker that they are not heading to the coast but to the "others"

the ending was quite fascinating with desmond's girlfriend suddenly appearing. but it does not really make sence. there's no way, desmond can have survived that blast... but with her in the picture, he must have ???!!!???

besides the conspiracy part which is really thrilling, i wonder how they'll explain the medical wonders... first, 50 people survive a plane crash! i mean... it wasn't just a rough water landing... the plane had split into 3 parts and just dropped...
next, locke's immediate ability to walk again after being paralysed. magical healing like maybe the oldish black woman's cancer may make more sence, but suddenly being able to walk? odd...

all in all, i really wonder how the "others/hostiles" are related to the dharma initiative and to the desmond's rich *****...

as for the game: the archer is quickly upgraded to an infantry (you know how much money i've got ). and as long as you don't have astronomy, there is no way you can surprise attack my capital

Well, we don't know if there was a blast. The only clue to that would have been the hatch door flying up in the air. But, if the explosion was that big, Charlie wouldn't have been far enough away by then to survive it. There wasn't an explosion noise, just a weird whine and a bright light...

i do believe there was a blast. the hatch door flying several hundred metres high could be somehow caused by the magnetism... but the guy before desmond was once really wasted and with the key of the failsafe in the hand he said he'd blow this stuff...

but anyhow, this lets me conclude that there is in fact no natural phenomenon but some kind of man-made thing. otherwise you couldn't just blow the discharger.
anyhow, we'll see... probably a handful of new clues will be reveiled next season


what actually happened to the dinosaur thingy that ate the pilot? i remember locke faced him and after that it was never heard of again... did i miss something

but i'm sure lumpy will want to kill me for messing up whatever plans he had

I'm sure Krazy will want to kill me for strengthening his "army" and building the first farm in the entire country. (except for a couple unirrigated wheat farms)



But, we've gotta give him a break. I don't think he ever played Civ2, and maybe only a few games of Civ3. As for my poor performance, Civ3 turned my brain into mush, and I hadn't even completed one single player game in Civ4 before jumping into PBEM...

I played Civ2!!! I'm just really bad at these Civ Games, I want to get better but I just don't have the time to share with all the games I like. It seems like whever I start a single player game of Civ, I lose lots and lots of sleep. I like my sleep.
