Well, it's been 2 1/2 weeks now. I emailed Doug a few days ago and haven't gotten a reponse. Shall we have the AI take over?

I really hate to replace someone this quickly, especially when he could have had an emergency

Its just for one reason or another I am down to 4 active CIV IV Games

Ill still play these but hopefull can empty the couch to find enough change for Warlords which is due out on Tuesday the 26th IIRC

Yea, I'm only in 3 games, but several months ago they were averaging a turn a day. Now we're lucky if it's a turn a week. I guess lots of people go on vacation in the summer, and are busy with other things. As for Doug, he must have either had a tragic emergency, or wanted to quit and figured disappearing was easier than resigning.

As for Warlords, I'm not sure if I'll be getting this one. I never play scenarios, so excluding them the price is a little steep for what all I get.

Weird, the turn George sent me didn't ask for a password. Almost like it was in Hotseat mode or something.

Could you try replaying it again? Something just isn't right, unless both Doug and Grandpa don't have passwords set, but that's not likely.

Its been so long, I dont believe I did

I trust everyone and even if I didnt Im sure someone has figured out how to by pass passwords

Ahhh, that explains it. So there's no problem at all. Doug is now retired to the AI, and the turn is sent to Grandpa.

So George, you now send to Grandpa.

And to be fair, since I had to get into Doug's turn to retire him, according to the minimap he's out on a peninsula big enough for maybe 10-15 cities. Nothing else had been explored, that's all I saw, and now we're all on the same page.
