I get beat by almost everyone and do have a bunch of fun, so no personal experience with anyone ever cheating or supposedly cheating on me, well, Im suck so bad one would think Im throwing a game waiting and sandbagging until the money is right before stepping to the plate and knocking it out of the park!

I agree with Gramps I'm by no means a stellar player, but I enjoy the game (unless I'm up against impossible odds and the attacker refuses to accept my surrender... ) I therefore propose a second game like thus:

What settings to use?

I like Zoid's suggestions, and would prefer and Islands map if possible.

Happy to go with whatever settings.

Zoids original set seem good to me.

Happy to play islands, but doesn't that give quite a lot of advantages/disadvantages to come civs (e.g. lucky guy who gets Hannibal, or Portugal) and to partiuclar wonders (colussus and lighthouse)?

I would also suggest no tech brokering, to stop tech trading racing off and leaving some behind, but again not that fussed.

I have no problem with any settings, nor with setting a timetable.

However as previously mentioned, I'll be out of town until 22nd March. If the game starts before that, my current sub is Geo. If that's going to cause problems, I can be bumped to FlameFest III, I guess.

I haven't played enough maps on MP to have a preference. However I have read quite a number of players don't like 'inland sea'.

So I am ok with map choice bar above. I have also read adverse comments about islands, though a few months back I thought that it might be interesting. I read it can be boring though.
